Players of the Game – vs. Saints

September 27th, 2009 | by armchair31 |

I think it is obvious that no offensive player made my list this week.  But there were still a few standout Bills that deserve recognition.

4.  Drayton Florence – playing in his first game since being injured in the preseason, Drayton looked good breaking up several plays and always seemed to be covering his man at all times.  Drayton looked great and should earn more playing time as Buffalo’s secondary continues to get hit by the injury bug.

3.  Aaron Schobel – his non-stop motor helped make Drew Brees life much more difficult.  After injuries cut his season short last year, it is good to see that Schobel is back and playing at the high level Bills fans were use to seeing from him.

2.  Chris Kelsay – Hey he had a sack.  I’m happy when he has two tackles, but a sack?  He is half way to matching his season total last year and just about a quarter way to his previous two year total…not bad!

1.  Brian Moorman – for throwing Buffalo’s only touchdown.  Hey Trent, you realize he is a punter right?  Just thought I would throw it out there.
